Why buy toys, when you can make them?
The kids have been reading and in small segments watching Harry Potter. At any point in time they can start to spontaneously "cast spells". They will wave sticks around and yell Wingardium Leviosa. Here is a picture of Ethan, who put a sheet over his head and attacked Amara. He told us he was a Dementor.

my first guess was that it was an invisibility cloak, love it even more as a dementor! your kids are so fun!
Craft time! With Amara's craft skills and Ethan's imagination... you might find they get recruited by Hogwarts! :-)
With Dementors around Amara needs to work on her Patronus Charm.

Have no fear, buppa h. She can regularly be heard shouting, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" They have a number of spells perfected. Favorites:
EXPELIARMUS - opponents wand goes flying
LUMOS - flip the light switch
WINGARDIUM LEVOISA - fling item into the air
That's so cute about Harry Potter. My kids haven't gotten into that yet, I guess it's only a matter of time. We're still in the Star Wars phase. it's great to see what you guys are up to. We miss you.
