Tonight at the Fireworks

Each kid was holding a light stick, one red and one blue. Quickly the sticks morphed into lightsabers. At one point, the boy/girl divide became painfully obvious.

Amara says, after holding both light sticks together and swishing them through the air, "Look mom! The blue and red make purple!"

Then Ethan's turn, in his meanest voice, "Give me that back or I will destroy you." At which point he took back his "lightsaber" and used it to decapitate his sister.

Fortunately Amara survived and recovered to observe and enjoy the fireworks.
