Apple Netbook!
I generally don't post tech stuff to the family blog, but I feel I should throw this one out because it is really exciting....if you are a computer geek. Anyway, Dow Jones is reporting the rumor that Apple will finally release a Netbook. (If you don't know what a "Netbook" is then read this.)
Now, I have been converting people to macs for the last five years or so, and I have yet to have one person revert to the PC. Well, the other day was the first time that I recommended to someone that they purchase a Netbook PC because Apple wasn't yet in the space. After hearing myself tell someone to buy a PC I realized that Apple had a serious shortage in their lineup. One that would cause them to lose some serious ground.
So, I am rejoicing in the rumor that Apple will release a netbook. I have loved the 10" form factor since working with a Dell LS400 9 years ago.

Alan, you are so right and stuff! Finally, a netbook for Girls!
The existence of the netbook is still in question so no official price yet. Though, one of the reasons why netbooks are attractive is that they are very cheap; under $500. I would guess that Apple will end up in the $499-$599 range.
Brittey....uh, why would this be a Netbook for girls?
