Picture #2, however, reveals his true feelings. Actually, this is the face Ethan exhibits after every bite of fruit he gets. Every bite, even when taken successively, evokes a look suspicion, concern and surprise. He certainly doesn't look impressed, though he's usually up for a few more bites.
For good measure, I thought I'd include Amara's crazy spaghetti eating,
and her lovely impression of Ethan's sour expression.

Max doesn't usually make faces while eating, because he is too busy scarfing, but he did make a horrible face the one time my mom tried giving him some avacado. He then retched and wept. We haven't offered him any avacado since.
