Express yourself
Ethan is entering into a whole new world of communication. Yesterday he looked up at the fan, and clearly waved his arm around in a crazy circle. This may not sound like communication, but its his first baby sign that he's picked up from us. He's been looking questioningly at other objects, like he wants to know more. Pretty cool, I must say. Did I mention he's a genius? Anyways, I can't remember all the signs we used with Amara, so I'm scouring the web and my memory. I'm always amazed by how much is going on in my baby's head. I tend to think that his goos and gaas are indicitave of his internal monologue, but there really is a lot more going on up there.

One of your signs involved him forming a ring with his hands and then placing them on his head, as though Amara were donning a crown. This was your sign for "Justin."
Awesome! Baby signs are so cool. We're starting to use them now, too. We started way too late with Owen, but it was still useful until he became verbal. He's growing so fast!
