Tonight we headed over to the Farmer's Market and this clown was there. He's there every week making balloon animals for the kids. Amara got a balloon a couple weeks ago, and was pretty quiet the whole time, just busy watching all the action. Today she was a bit more relaxed. At first I wasn't sure about this guy because, well, he dresses like a clown, makes balloon animals, and talks in a funny voice. However, he's won me over. He's got a little routine that involves the kids sitting on special seats as they wait their turns, and ringing bells/hitting a gong when they pay him. He loves to tease the kids, and I was a little worried that my sensitive little Amara would get nervous and burst into tears on her turn, but he was great at giving her a little extra space and trying things out on other kids first so she'd know what to expect. Does that make sense? The point here is, that he's cool. And he likes to mock the parents, so watch out.

aw, we should have gone down! we went the first 2 or 3 weeks in a row but haven't gone back since. I actually drove by as they were setting up and considered another awesome strawberry flat, but then realized my jam-making supplies are all packed and they'd be shriveling by the time I was ready to do it. :(
Is this the D-town farmers market?
don't think so... Thursday night, right, Stina?
Not in D town. Sorry.
In hindsight, it was sort of a dumb question. My bad :)
