Goldfish

We're up in Washington right now visiting Alan's parents. Its beautiful up here and we're having a fun time.

We headed to the pet store a few days ago to buy some new fish for the pond in the back yard. Each kid picked a fish - Amara's is many colored and named Rainbow, Ethan's is bright orange and white and named Candycorn.

The kids informed us many times of all the kind gestures they were making to the fish. Amara wrote them a story about fish, mostly in pictures because she figured they wouldn't be able to read the whole thing too well. Here she is having story time for the fish. The stories were about a princess fish, and a surprise party for a fish.

We haven't seen the fish for a few days now, so we're hoping they're still ok in there. There are lots of hiding places, so we're not to worried....yet.
