All In One Day
When we went up to my parents place last month we made the trip using a number of modes of transportation. First we drove, then walked, then took the train:
Ethan loves the train and was really excited. From the picture above you can see he wasn't super happy to get off. After the train, we took the bus:
Then the plane to WA:
(We discovered that Ethan has developed a fear of flying!)
Granpa picked us all up and we took the ferry over to Whidbey Island:
And then after a long drive we made it to my parents place!

That was fun. Is Ethan afraid of the take-offs and landings or the entire ride? What little boy doesn't like trains!
He is mostly scared of take-offs and landings. Six months ago he wasn't. And Amara is no longer scared of them. But for some reason Ethan has picked up the fear.
Really, anytime you can feel it in your stomach, even a tiny bit, it has him clutching the armrest/my hand in terror. And any bumps set him on edge, too.
i love the picture on the airplane, it really looks like amara is explainng to ethan that there's nothing to worry about:)
