The Olympics

Considering the amount of water cooler chatter about the olympics I have heard, I didn't get in nearly as much time as the average American did over the last two weeks. None the less I really enjoyed the games. What is so amazing about the games is the pride in country that the games inspire. It is great when the athletes can inspire their respective nations, and even better when a country can take great pride in their athletes when they win silver or bronze. Here is a great article about the Icelandic Handball team and how they inspired their country, though they fell just short of a gold medal:
