We've been having a great time up in Washington with Alan's family. Here are the highlights:

Here we are at the beach. Throwing rocks into the water seems to be the highlight. Luckily no one's taken one to the head.

We've done this on a couple of occasions now - hooked the wagon up to the lawn mower and headed up and down the street. Good times.

We've all taken a turn driving. Its pretty slow going, usually, but Alan went the fastest up the hill, making the hovering adults (me) jog alongside to keep up.

Anna took a cake decorating class recently, so she whipped up some frosting, and we tried our hand on these cupcakes. Amara had a good time, but kept squishing frosting out the top of her bag. Pretty funny.

This was a lot of fun. Alan's parents have some friends with quads, who offered to let us come ride. Amara was great hanging on to daddy - she sensed her peril and held on accordingly, it seems.

They also had this Gator, which was a bit more like a car. It worked out well for Ethan. Having him hang onto my back seemed way too risky, so he sat on my lap and Grandma drove. He was freezing, too.... so glad we brought the blankets.
