Let's go fly a kite

Lately I've felt like Amara's wanting to spend a lot of time watching tv or playing computer games. I feel like I'm always having to drag her away or tell her no. But, I realized earlier that she's still got her creative streak in her, too. Yesterday she took this paper, decorated it, attached a ribbon and headed outside to try to fly her kite. Too bad it wouldn't fly, but it was a valiant effort.
She also made a robot yesterday out of 3 large paper grocery bags. And the birthday hats. Among other things. She's cool.
