Brrr

We went to the park finally today. Amara's been asking to go and for some reason, it always feels like such a hassle. Oh wait - I know why. A 3 year-old with the attention span of a 3 year-old. I asked her about 10 times to put on her shoes and socks. Once, she disappeared into her room for awhile, and came back with one doggie slipper. At least she remembered she was supposed to put something on her feet. After lots of encouragement, a few threats, etc. she got her shoes on and we went. It was a little on the chilly side. Really not too bad, but Ethan gets freaked by the breeze, and there was slush at the bottom of the slides. yikes. After about 20 minutes Amara was asking to go home. I offered to go get her warm jacket, which we'd left in the car, but she wasn't interested. Doesn't she look happy? (It hasn't been that cold. High 20's at night, high 30's during the day).

That looks cold. I sometimes venture to take the boys outside for a few minutes, then I have to go inside and watch them from the window. somehow the cold doesn't phase them. I'm jealous you're going to CA!! I'm trying to find a way and time to go.
Gotta love that 3 year old attention span...it drives me CRAZY!!!
