Kayaking

A few hundred feet from my parents backyard is a boat ramp to a little cove that is open to the Sound. We spent a bit of time kayaking on the water there. Since the bay is very protected the water is quite calm. Both Amara and Ethan loved the boats. The first time Ethan went out he was so relaxed he fell asleep, head first in the bow of the kayak.



You can see Ethan asleep in the front and that's my brother in the back.



Amara insisted on going out with just her and grandpa.
