Like a Rock

We spent 2 weeks up in Washington visiting Alan's parents. Their new place is gorgeous and we had lots of fun playing at the beach and with the family. I'll post more about it later. Unfortunately, grandpa's camera had some battery problems, so we couldn't get his pictures. But, Alan's uncle is going to send us a few eventually...

Anyway, we just got back home late Friday night. Really late. Our 30 minute layover turned into a 3 hour and 30 minute layover. Ugh. We got home around midnight. Amara fell asleep about 2o minutes before our last flight leg ended, slept through the rest of the flight, while we walked through the airport, retrieved our luggage, loaded the cab, strapped in the car seats, drove home, and got into bed. She wiggled a few times, opened her eyes once, but pretty much slept like a rock the whole time. Crazy. And to think she was a restless little sleeper as a baby...
