Ever heard of button ups? I got these when I was a kid, and Amara's been using all her creative energy on them. This afternoon I saw this kitty, and I thought - wow, my mom or dad was creative when they helped Amara make this. I'd never thought to bend squares in half like that to make ears, and those funny hand things for whiskers are creative, too! I commented on this to my dad, and he informed me that Amara put this cat together independently this morning. Another interesting item: the button colors. Notice that the eyes and nose contrast the background colors. They're supposed to stand out. But the buttons on the legs and others that are intended to be functional, not decorative, match the color behind them. Wow!
