Stupid Embarrassment

Today I heard Amara mutter in an annoyed tone, "Stupid sticker." Oh great. She's heard me curse some inanimate object, and has now incorporated it into her own vocabulary. I saw that she was referring to the sticker on an orange that she was attempting to peel. I asked her why she said it was stupid. Her reply: Because its embarrassing, and silly - I don't want to eat a sticker. Amen to that. I've told her a couple times lately that its embarrassing when she whines loudly at the supermarket about hot dog buns, or picking out apples, or whatever random thing isn't right. Do you think she gets it? She seems to get that its not a good thing...
