The other day we made a trip to a nearby hotel/atrium with the 'rents. We really don't go very often, but its very cool, and quite pretty, full of waterfalls, ponds, lots of plants and trees as well as places to eat and shop.

This crazy leaf lady was also there. At first glance, she looked like a vine hanging on one of the light posts, but on closer inspection, we realized it was someone in costume. She then began moving around, doing graceful poses and such. A bit strange, but fascinating, as well. Especially to Amara, who now has been asking if the vines were poking her skin, and how she turned green, and if she can smooch anyone and does she walk on sticks (stilts!).

After all those rides at Marine World and she still wasn't sure about this Bob the Builder ride that shook back and forth a bit.

Amara actually took this one. It showcases her photography skills, and Ethan cuteness skills, too!

That vine lady reminds me of Plaster Man, whom we saw in Canada. It was hilarious. He stood as still as a statue and if you put some money in his can he started moving around. He'd dance longer if you put in more money. His whole outfit was plastered, his face, his hands, everything. Looked pretty uncomfortable, but boy was it funny. The things people do for money. Or maybe it wasn't for the money. Stranger still. People are weird.
