We had a little New Year's celebration last night. The horns were probably the biggest hit of the night, but we did plan a party and let the kids stay up a little later than normal. We forwent dinner entirely and ate all our favorite appetizers instead, then we played games. I'd been wanting to play Pictionary with Amara, since she's quite the artist lately, and I made a few cards especially for her. It was a real hit - she drew some masterpieces. My favorite was her garbage truck, which was even more entertaining because it was Ethan who recognized the attached garbage can first. Also, her version of Jack Sparrow complete with a skull and crossbones hat was great, too.
