The weather outside is frightful...NOT

Over the weekend we went downtown, where they'd made snow for the kids to play in. It was a pretty small area of snow, but there were lots of people playing in it and enjoying the opportunity.This picture pretty well sums up Ethan's reaction to the snow. Hands up, asking me to hold him...
Amara was a good sport. She wandered around in the little snow pile and built this mini snow man. Look closely to her right. It blends in, but its there, ok??!!

The ickiest part of the snow play: A girl about age 10, carrying around a cup full of very dirty, brown snow (that I'm sure had been trampled on about 500 times in about the last 4 hours) licking it like it was a tasty snow cone. You may as well lick dirt right of the ground!!
