Playdate

This morning we spent some time at a friend's house, and the kids enjoyed all their cool equipment. Amara's a big fan of the trampoline, and the net is very cool and so much safer than the original trampoline. And look how big little Ethan looks. Geez. They also have a swingset, and they've put the posts in cement buckets to keep it from lifting off the ground.
How many times did I swing at my friends house, always with a wary eye on that post that kept raising off the ground with each swing, trying to make sure that my buddy and I were never doing synchronized swinging for fear of flipping the whole thing over... which of course never came close to happening, but hey were were 6. We also thought that if we swung high enough we could wrap around the bar and it would be so cool.

Tonight in the car, Amara asked me if I peeked in on her in Sunbeams "lasternight", and if I saw her cheeks going like this (hand moves side to side). I told her Sunday after her class that I'd peeked in the window and saw her eating crackers for a snack, and that's her crazy way of asking about it.
