Moving along...

The kids have had some interesting things to say about our upcoming move.

Alan actually left yesterday and headed down south. He'll be starting work on Monday and figuring things out down there. We already have a condo that we'll be staying in, but all our stuff is still in Tennessee, so we have to go get that at some point soon. Until then, Alan will be surviving with minimal supplies.

Ethan keeps asking if there are toys at our new house. I told him that yes, there will be lots of toys at our new house. When Alan headed out by himself yesterday, Ethan said he didn't want daddy to go down there all by himself!! In his mind it probably seems very unfair that daddy will be down there playing with all the toys without Ethan! I can't seem to convince him that the toys aren't there yet anyway.

And Amara yesterday told my mom that now that they've graduated (she means retired!) that they can move down to Southern Cal, too and live right by us. We'll be lost without grandma and grandpa....
