Mr. Melodramatic

Meet Mr. Melodrama. I can't have an M&M? Drama! You can't find my toothbrush? Drama! I can't scribble on the wall with the marker? Drama! Drama = crying and falling to the floor in a defeated heap.

Lately, he's been particularly picky about his clothing. I often think that chilling in a diaper is a superb idea when a messy project is in the works. Or when a pair of pants gets soaked by the hose and needs about an hour to dry out. Ethan is completely unwilling to go pants less for any amount of time (unless I count the time immediately after the shower...). Today when we went to a Halloween Party, Ethan cried remorsefully when I dressed him in his costume, repeatedly insisting that I put his other shirt back on.

When things become unbearable, Ethan runs down the hall and throws himself on the floor, shooing us all away with his hands. Here he's just calmed down after tossing himself on the floor. The hard realities that face an almost 2 year old are endless.

I just read your title. You like Tommy Boy huh? I think that is my husband's theme movie. His favorite line? "We'll see what happens tomorrow."
