Creativity returns
Lately, I've been feeling like we're in a bit of a rut. Amara's seemed a bit bored, and I was mourning the loss of some of the creative play she used to do - lining up her babies and singing to them, for example. I wasn't sure if she just hadn't wanted to do it, or if she may have outgrown that stage. Anyways, the last couple of days, she's come up with all sorts of creative endeavors to entertain herself. Yesterday she was playing library. She had my sewing board (??not sure what they're called, but the board with measurements that folds out) made into a puppet house, complete with puppets and guitar playing and songs about mother goose! My only concern was that I heard her say, "This was brought to you by contributions from viewers like you." What?? So I said, "Oh no! Too much PBS??" To which she sang, "PBS Kids," like the little jingle on PBS... Yikes.

Amara is a crak-up! The scary thing is she listens to everything.
